The cottage has full central heating with a wood burning stove in the living room. There are two leather settees and all furniture is dark sheesham style. Flemish oak flooring throughout the cottage adds to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Calming neutral colours enhance the relaxing feel of the cottage throughout. TV/DVD + FreeSat is available. There is no internet access or telephone. The views from the large picture window have to be seen to be believed.

Bedroom 1 has a luxury Shaker style king size bed, with matching bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and warm sheepskin rugs. A single built in wardrobe is available for use. A lovely warm room which gets the sun most of the day.

Bedroom 2 has two single beds and matching bedside cabinet in Shaker style pine. Two built in wardrobes with shelves are available. This room faces the mainland and has fantastic views.

The white bathroom has both bath and shower and constant hot water. Towels are provided.

Kitchen/ dining room has a modern fitted kitchen including hob, oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The oak style dining table seats 4. A small utility room, off the kitchen to the rear of the house, is ideal for drying walking gear and gives direct access to the garden.

If you are looking for some fresh eggs for breakfast, home made preserves or fresh vegetables then a short walk away, about 200 yards further along the road, you will see kerbside boxes where you will find some lovely local produce. Prices are stated and honesty boxes are nearby for you to pay for your goods.

The enclosed garden is mainly laid to grass and shrubs but we have plans to create a number of spaces around the house to relax in on sunny days which will reflect the best flora and fauna Scotland has to offer.
